I just wrote a long review about the pedal, and it got erased, so I'm gonna sum everything up:
SHIPPING: Had special conditions for my shipping, and got a personal phone call from the company. We worked out a new shipping plan that would have the pedal arrive just on time for a party. I got the pedal a day sooner than I expected. Personal thanks to the staff behind the scenes!
INSTALLATION: The only trouble you'll have with the installation is getting the old parts out of your broken (or soon to be) Rock Band plastic bass pedal. You'll need to rip out the rubber stoppers and break the plastic shell that holds the magnet. After that, installing the actual Mega Pedal is a breeze. I could have been done in a minute if it wasn't for the magnet stealing the screws.
CRASH TEST: The pedal feels so sturdy, you stop worrying about breaking the pedal and you begin to worry about breaking the plastic base underneath! It assures you the freedom to stomp the pedal to death if you feel it's necessary, and works just as well as the plastic pedal (possibly even better). I got a 98% on "Maps" on Expert as my first play, when I average at a 94%. The Mega Pedal is (obviously) a bit heavier, so pressing the bass pedal is easier to do, and your foot/leg will thank you for it.
Five stars from me!
